Hotel Viareggio

The Hotel Tahiti is located in the center of Viareggio on Viale Buonarroti which is the first parallel to the seafront

the seaside promenade of Viareggio , the beach and all the bathing establishments are just a few steps away from our structure. In front of the hotel's entrance door there is a lush Mediterranean pine forest

and the center of Viareggio called the "piazzone" area where the city market takes place is only a 5 minute walk away. All of Viareggina's life , attractions, activities, events, restaurants, clubs, sea, sun, entertainment for adults, families and children take place near the hotel.

The Art Nouveau and Deco architecture of many buildings is noteworthy.

The most monumental and artistically valuable area of the city, due to the quality and quantity of buildings of architectural interest, is the Passeggiata. Famous is the Politeama Theater which overlooks the pier and the Gran Caffe Margherita .

On the Viareggino seafront there are countless bathing establishments that offer every type of bathing service, swimming pools, whirlpools, sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas and tents, furthermore many of them have very nice restaurants inside them overlooking the sea where it is possible to have lunch or have dinner, caressed by the Tyrrhenian breeze.

Furthermore, the most important events generally take place near Piazza Mazzini, such as the Viareggio carnival , fireworks, end-of-year parties, and various other events organized from time to time.

The Viareggio promenade is also famous for its "shopping". From the past to today, the ancient avenue is interwoven with glittering boutique windows with the most prestigious names in Italian and international fashion. There is no shortage of large chain stores that also have lower prices. affordable, along the entire route, which can also be done by bicycle on the brand new cycle path , we find many cafes, bars and clubs with open verandas from where you can watch the people walking or stay late, listening to good live music, waiting for the time at the disco, having lunch, dinner or eating an ice cream.

At the end of the walk, going in the direction of the port of Viareggio you arrive at the Lungomolo del Greco or called the "Tito" pier by the people of Viareggio.

Directly on the pier it is possible to buy fresh fish just caught from the boats and it is also possible to buy it cooked from two restaurant boats moored along the Burlamacca canal and eat it directly in front of the sea and here the mixed fried food is delicious, perhaps due to the atmosphere it is created.

From the bridge that crosses the canal it is mandatory to take a photo with the background of the boats moored along the entrance to the port, especially if it is sunset time.

This route which extends for about 1 km projecting into the sea is one of the most romantic and relaxing things you can do during your stay in Tuscany , with your girlfriend, with your family or even having a chat with friends enjoying of a panorama that leaves you speechless, in fact it is possible to admire the entire coast of Versilia, from Viareggio a very long strip of lights starts that reflects on the sea and continues on the coast that reaches up to Forte dei Marmi and goes further up to La Spezia , which with the soft colors of the evening becomes a breathtaking spectacle.

In the central Viareggio area, the "piazzone" delimited by Via Battisti, Via Fratti, Via Verdi and Via San Martino, there is a neighborhood dedicated almost entirely to shopping , where the market also takes place every Thursday, with shops of all kinds and type. Opposite our hotel is the western pine forest

which contributes to making the air you breathe in the hotel a wonderful mix of sea and pine flavours , as well as refreshing the hot summer days so that the microclimate in the Tahiti area is always excellent, the rooms remain fresh and temperate and the an aperitif taken in our garden facing the pine forest is a must not to be missed.
